Symbion has considerable experience operating in the most challenging of circumstances.  From war ravaged countries like Iraq and Afghanistan to developing countries across the African continent where 600 million people still don’t have access to electricity.

We understand the risks that prevail in emerging markets and we know how to mitigate them so that we can ensure that our investments are successful. Our partners and our lenders expect us to deliver where others cannot.

Lake Kivu is up to 500 meters deep and it is the only lake in the world that emits methane gas from the lake bed into the water.
